I wasn't born into privilege. In fact, I experienced childhood in homelessness and foster care. Beginning adult life with less than nothing, I steadfastly refused to let circumstances dictate my success or my future. Nor did I let rigid guidelines or social statistics tell me what's possible. I started my first business before I started middle school. Over a lifetime of entrepreneurship, I've walked in your shoes: taking risks, managing cash flow, and scaling a portfolio.
I started my banking career in the most challenging time for banks in modern history: 2008. I wrapped it up as a commercial lender and underwriter during one of the most challenging times for human population: the COVID-19 global pandemic. I chose the path of an independent mortgage broker because I got tired of seeing good deals turned down by traditional banks because they didn't fit the bank's lending appetite. I was originating DSCR loans before my competitors could spell DSCR.
My expertise in navigating the complex financial structures of wealth builders afforded me invitations to work closely with luxury home owners, which I have gladly accepted.
I don't believe that capital is about status or keeping score: Money is simply a tool for building the fulfilling lives we envision. It’s what nourishes and powers the real-life goals, meaningful moments, and freedom we cultivate.
Through every economic cycle I’ve navigated — from entering banking during the 2008 crash to underwriting through a global pandemic — my goal has remained the same: to help people use real estate and strategic capital to create genuine freedom. I’ve built a beautiful, fulfilling life on my own terms, and I view every deal I originate as an opportunity to help you do the same for your future and the people you love.
I currently live in a rural community just outside of Nashville, TN with my husband, Tim, our youngest of our combined five children, Charlotte (15), and our three rescue dogs. (Ask me about my dogs!) I am privileged to have my best friend of 20 years also living in a home on the property. I enjoy my vegetable and flower gardens, camping, quilting, and am a paint-by-number enthusiast. I'd rather fish than eat, which is a good thing because I don't catch much. Tim loves cruises and my goal is to take him on as many cruises as he wants to go on!
